Jon Howard
CEO
Jon has over 25 years of experience as an aviation insurance underwriter. During that time he has worked with policy holders, aircraft owner groups, brokers, insurers, actuaries, adjusters, attorneys and reinsurers to improve underwriting methods and results. Jon is an FAA certificated Commercial pilot and Flight Instructor with multiple ratings.
PATRICK WASHINGTON
Senior Aviation Underwriter
Patrick Washington has over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry. As an underwriter, he works to secure solutions for aviators and build strong relationships with brokers and agents. As a commercial pilot, certificated flight instructor, and frequent volunteer, he is actively involved in aviation safety and educational roles in flying clubs and Civil Air Patrol. Patrick is dedicated to sharing the joy of flight and promoting aviation.
CORY DERSHEM
Senior Aviation Underwriter
Growing up in Lock Haven PA, “Home of the Piper Cub,” Cory spent many afternoons at the Piper and Taylorcraft factory until old enough to do ground school and begin learning to fly his family’s Cub. After college, he moved to the South and has spent the last 20 years as a Broker, Claims Adjuster, and Underwriter. Cory likes to spend his free time reading, riding scooters and volunteering for team building, conflict resolution, and negotiation scenarios for multiple groups.
LEE PLUMLEY
Senior Aviation Underwriter
Lee’s early passion for aviation blossomed when he would sneak into his father’s garage, where his father stored his experimental single-seat aircraft. In 2004, he achieved a significant milestone by obtaining his Private Pilot certificate. Lee’s journey in the Aviation Insurance Industry commenced in 2007 when he assumed the role of Field Adjuster in Claims, subsequently transitioning to Underwriting in 2014. Outside of his professional endeavors, Lee prioritizes his growing family and enjoys the companionship of two spirited Boston Terriers.
